New England Patriots

New England Patriots are a professional American football team based in the Greater Boston area. They compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member of the East division of the American Football Conference (AFC). Established in 1960 as the Boston Patriots, the team became the New England Patriots in 1971 after relocating to Foxborough, Massachusetts.

The Patriots have a rich history, particularly noted for their unprecedented success in the 21st century under head coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady. They have won six Super Bowl championships (in 2001, 2003, 2004, 2014, 2016, and 2018), tied for the most in NFL history. The team also holds numerous records for regular-season and playoff victories.
